Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in the City of Garland welcomed its new Rector in services on Thursday, November 1. John Daniel Brown, and his wife, Evelyn, were called from the Diocese of Kentucky to lead this congregation in its rebuilding.

Bishop Stanton presided at the service. Canon Paul Lambert and Deacon Nancy Powers assisted.

Canon Victoria Heard and Deacon Pam Dunbar, who had assisted the Vestry at various times, took part.

The service was followed by a festive reception, which included the giving of yellow roses to Mrs. Brown.
