BISHOP ORDAINS FOUR AS DEACONS

On Saturday, November 10, the Bishop ordained four to the Sacred Order of Deacons at St. Matthew's Cathedral in Dallas.

Two of the ordinands were the first to complete studies and preparation at Instituto Teológico de San Mateo, a program for Latino preparation for holy orders. The Instituto is under the direction of Fr. Antonio Muñoz. They were Noë Méndez and Maria Treviño.

The other two completed studies at the Cathedral Center for Ministry Formation: Carol Hobson and Elizabeth Breyfogle.

Fr. Antonio Muñoz and his band provided festive music at the reception following the ordination.
