CONFIRMATION AT ST. PHILIP'S
The Bishop presided at a Eucharist and celebrated Confirmation at
St. Philip's Church, in Sulphur Springs, on September 8, 2007.
St. Philip's presented seven candidates, and one from St.
Francis, Winnsboro.
Our Merciful Saviour in Kaufman also presented one candidate.
The Rev. Barbara Kelton, St. Philip's Vicar, welcomed the Bishop
and the congregation.
The Rev. Jerry Hill, Vicar at Our Merciful Savour, assisted in the
service.
Deacon Ethel Channon served at the altar, and Canon Paul Lambert
served as
Bishop's Chaplain.
